We are glad that you found us. Trinity is but one Wesleyan church which is part of a team of churches that make up the North Carolina East District of the world-wide Wesleyan Church.
Following Jesus, we boldly shine the light of his boundless love, life-changing holiness and unstoppable hope into all the world. Our desire is to make Jesus the Subject of each life we touch!
Here’s a breakdown:
Admit: Acknowledge that you are a sinner and need God’s forgiveness. The Bible says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
Believe: Believe that Jesus Christ is God’s Son and that He died for your sins and rose again. John 3:16 states, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life".
Confess: Confess your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. Romans 10:9 says, "If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved"
Starting a new direction in life with Jesus as your subject can be a transformative journey. Here are a few thoughts to consider:
Seek God’s Guidance: Begin by praying and asking God to reveal His plans for you. Trust that He will guide you through His Word and the promptings of the Holy Spirit.
Embrace Change with Faith: Stepping into a new direction can be daunting, but remember that God is with you every step of the way. Have faith that He will provide the strength and courage you need.
Study the Scriptures: The Bible is full of stories where God led people into new paths. Reflect on these stories for inspiration and encouragement.
Surround Yourself with Support: Prayers and fellowship with other believers who are making Jesus the subject of their lives can be a great source of strength and encouragement in your journey.
Be Open to New Opportunities: Sometimes when we make Jesus the subject, God opens new doors and closes old ones to direct us.
Trust in God’s Timing: God’s timing is perfect. Be patient and trust that He knows the best time for everything in your life.
Starting a new direction with God is about trusting Him fully and being open to His leading. How do you feel about taking this step? Need prayer? Give us a call. Someone will be glad to pray with you.
